Hi, friends!

It has been a minute since I've last written. Can you believe that Christmas is just a few days away? It's true what they say about the days being long and the weeks/years short. One of my New Year's Resolutions is to write more. I'm telling you, it is truly healing! Perfect self-care, for sure!

I know that I'm not the only one when I say that Christmas is my favorite time of year! I love the festivities, from the decorating to the baking to the parties to the music... just call me Buddy the Elf! However, in all the "good" chaos, it is so easy to forget why we celebrate Christmas.

I once saw an awesome video where a man was preaching, and I specifically remember him stressing this:

"God offered us a way out."

Wow! That took a while to soak in.

God didn't have to do this. He could have turned His back on us and forgotten all about us, but He didn't. I don't know many parents who would say, "Here! I will help save you! Take my child and murder him. I love you so much that I will do this for you." WOW!

Thank you, God, for the greatest gift of all that no one deserves!

With that, we can truly celebrate the miracle of Christmas all year long!

Thank you, God, for loving us that much and for getting us out of a really bad situation.

Remember to smile and give someone a hug today. You may be the only one who helps point them to Jesus.

Love always,

Amy (Ephesians 3:20)
