Sunday = Self-Care

Hi, friends! It's been a minute, but I miss writing and have been trying to make more time for it. I started keeping a journal (a cute notebook I found in a cute boutique- HA, but still..). I try to write down something positive/good about each day, and can I tell you, once I get started, it does something to boost your mood! I highly recommend you try it!
Speaking of boosting things, I've been trying lately to boost my Sunday game. Except for church, I feel the same way about Sunday as Garfield feels about Monday. It's not my favorite day. Lately, I've been trying to find special things to make Sunday more, well, special. I've been seeing a lot of posts on social media about "Sunday self-care," so I tried it out a few weeks ago. It's given me a new positive view of not only Sunday's, but how important self-care is. Trust me, there's a difference between "self-care" and "selfish." What's more, "self-care Sundays" set the tone for the rest of the week. I feel ready to tackle almost anything the week can throw!
Here are some of my favorite ideas for "Sunday Self-Care" to get you started- have fun!
Go to a church service
Soak in a warm/hot bath
Journal
Bake
Enjoy time outside
Watch a funny movie
Sleep late/take a nap
Do a fun side project, hobby, or craft
Read a good book
Listen to a podcast or music
Cook a delicious meal
Totally veg out
Go shopping
Talk to a friend (in person or on the phone)
Make coffee or tea
