OMG you MUST read this: A Book Talk

Hey, my lovely readers! I must apologize for being absent for a while. I've been savoring the Thanksgiving holiday and have been out of town. It's been so nice and so much fun, and I hope it has been for you, as well!

It's no surprise that I love books, being a librarian who loves her job, etc., but any time I read a good book, I HAVE to tell the whole world about it! (I know, I know, I'm geeking out again).

I have always been a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks- he combines the most beautiful love stories and characters with the perfect amount of heartbreaking, bittersweet tragedies. If you're like me and love mushy-gushy romantic reads, as well as a good cry (and laughs), this book is perfect for you.

The Return by Nicholas Sparks is one of his most recent titles, and it features an injured, retired military doctor named Trevor. Trevor is beginning a new chapter in his life, and after recently losing his grandfather, he returns to his grandfather's home in North Carolina, revisiting a familiar childhood haven. Although he plans to stay only temporarily, Trevor befriends a beautiful, young sheriff's deputy named Natalie. Needless to say, Trevor can't get enough of Natalie! However, Natalie has a mysterious (and slightly puzzling) past, and she's hesitant to let Trevor in. Will Trevor be able to win her over, as they both begin a new journey, picking up all of life's broken pieces along the way? I'm stopping there because I don't believe in spoilers- LOL!

Next, I'm hoping to read Sparks's newest title, The Wish. I'll be sure to let you know how I enjoyed it. If you want a good read, Sparks hasn't lost his touch. I could NOT put this one down (literally). Happy reading/Tuesday!

Love,

Amy
