Just a number...

Hi, readers! I apologize for being away for a minute. I forgot my password and had to reset it for the billionth time for my account (story of my life). At least it's not my bank account- LOL! Things have been good, but busy, with a teetering balance of work and getting ready for the holidays.
I celebrated my 33rd birthday on November 29th, after Thanksgiving. If I'm being honest, when I first turned 30, I freaked out a little bit. However, as time goes on, I have begun to realize that age is just a number. You can be as young or old as you want to be. I mean, my grandfather is 95, and he still has as much joy and excitement as a kid! We can all learn from him. I'm naturally a big kid at heart. I celebrated by taking a weekend trip, eating way too much, getting a pedicure, and shopping until I dropped. Of course, I made time to relax and enjoy a few good reads, as well. I'm reading an awesome memoir, and I can't wait to share my thoughts with you soon. Stay tuned!
I want to leave you with an awesome quote I saw the other day on a friend's social media profile. This is my new mantra, as I plan to go into year 33 (thank you, God, for blessing me with another year!). No regrets, no looking back, just moving forward-
"Going in one more round when you don't think you can, that's what makes all the difference in your life" - Rocky Balboa
So, get out there and try one more time.. you never know what beautiful, good things lie ahead! Remember to make time for yourself today and be kind to yourself (something else I'm trying to practice more of).
Love, Amy (Ephesians 3:20)
