It's the Little Things

Everyone knows that the most simple, littlest things are truly the best. However, sometimes, we don't take the time to slow down and truly enjoy them as we should. I don't know about you, but I'm always going, work work work, etc., and I have to often force myself to slow down and "smell the roses." After my sweet Grandaddy died, I made a goal to start noticing these special things more.

Yesterday, being a typical Monday, I was on a tight schedule. After running an errand for work, I decided to stop at our local pizza place. They were doing a fundraiser for a sweet lady in my hometown who is currently battling cancer, and part of the proceeds went to support her. After I ate my individual pizza, there was some stuck-on cheese on the box. Usually, I don't pay too much attention to it. However, as I looked closer, I noticed it was in the shape of a cross. Coincidence? I think not.

It goes to show you that God is in the big things AND the little things. Long story short, we don't have to be anxious or worry about the future because you know what? God's got us!

Enjoy this beautiful day God has given us, and be blessed! Better yet, go and be a blessing to someone else, and you will find yourself blessed in return.

Love,

Amy

PS- See if you see a cross!
