A Fresh Start...

Hi, everyone! In a way, I've been having a slight case of "writer's block," especially since I'm in the middle of some great reads and haven't cooked all that much lately. Plus, this rainy weather and the fact that it's Monday don't help ("Rainy Days and Mondays Always Get Me Down."). Like most people, Mondays have me feeling "blech," or "again?!." On the other hand, the more I think about something, the more enlightened I become.

I've always tried to maintain a "glass is half full" mantra, and I do believe there is always a silver lining, a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow (Yay, St. Paddy's Day!), you name it. Something I really like about Mondays is the fact that they set the tone for the rest of the week. If you really think about it, it's often a fresh start, the week literally a blank canvas for endless possibilities. So, go ahead and set goals, make plans, and tackle those projects and procrastination! Seize the day, or "CARPE DIEM!" as one of my dearest friends says. The week is young! Let's get it, y'all!
